Brand Information: Denman

John Denman Dean (Jack Dean) created the classic Denman brush which was first patented in 1938. After World War II, Denman was established in England. Drawing on the expertise of leading hairdressers of the day including Freddie French, a combination of artistic and engineering skills helped him create many innovative hairdressing products. In the 1960s Denman was relocated to Northern Ireland where Hairdressing legend, Vidal Sassoon popularized the Denman brushes.
